5stars
I was recommended by a close friend, I found it to be very good and easy access to the casino and the rooms. All employees were very attendant and polite. I have no complaints about the rooms or casino, I have been there 21 times so far and am now planning my 22nd time.

3stars  Over Charge
I am local from Las Vegas on the night of August 9 2008 my air conditioned unit broke down so I decide to rent a hotel to spend a night with my family and run away from my hot house.
The kids have fun at the pool; we rent a cabana to follow the Olympics’
Games.
We when back to the room at 8:00 PM after they close the pool take a shower and order a movie at 8:59PM.
Monday we have breakfast at the buffet and them we check out, when we have the final bill after spent a couple hundred on food and drinks them they charge me for a movie that didn’t rent $10.99 I told them that I never rent that movie and that I have it on DVD on my house, they told me that is not they can do so I pay for the movie and leave not happy after been reap off I will never comeback or recommend anybody is not about the $10.99 is just not right Hector More

5stars  The Luxor is the best place to stay at :)
Out of all the hotels in las vegas the Luxor is the best it may be old but there ventalation system is the best you dont smell like smoke when you pass through the casino area and best food court ,exact description in the room great view, the price is right in the range i wanted it to be, right at the entrance of las vegas, room service fast and quick. Very friendly staff and to check out you do it right on your TV screen ITSN'T THAT AWESOME and you have internet on your tv the best hotel i ever stayed at now the next time I go will either be The Luxor or Mandalay BAY or THE HOTEL.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and only have good comments about it. Very well located on the strip, no problems at all with the rooms and all the staff very friendly and helpful. The choice of eating places suits mosts people, and my husband is very choosy so that is saying something. I read that it is expensive to eat in the hotels but not so here, food it good and reasonable.
In all a very enjoyable stay both visits and would go back every time.

  NBA All Star fiasco weekend
We only stayed in Las Vegas one night but it was during the NBA All Star fiasco weekend. On our very first (and probably only) visit to Las Vegas we paid a lot of money for a room at Excalibur that looked out onto a blank brick wall. The NBA fans were completely out of control and no one seemed to care. Doors slamming all night, screaming in the halls, food and trash in halls and elevators. Our room was dank and dark and the furniture had definately seen its last day. Lady at the front desk was rude. We did not feel safe. The only bright spot was the Tournament Dinner Show, evidentally NBA fans don't like jousting. I felt very bad for anyone staying there with children. It had to be an eye-opening experience for a child as this 50-some year old woman saw things her eyes should have never seen in a lifetime. Just trying to walk a couple blocks to see some of the hotels and casinos we have heard about was frightening and unforgettable. All in all, a very bad experience and we were anxious to get out of Las Vegas as early as possible the next morning. Perhaps the Mayor of Las Vegas was happy to have the NBA All Star game and their fans but he should rethink his position. Excalibur should update their rooms and, if they plan to host guests that lack even minimum basic manners, they should bolster their security measures.

  Loved it.
So reading below I don't really understand the problems people had with it. In my opinion this casino was where the party was at. All of the casinos have their good and bad, and one bad experience will, of course happen time to time. When I was there it was so amazingly fun. The atmosphere was great all around the casino floor at all hours of the day. You can walk in there at 9am and find happy people having a great time all over, and walk through again at 3 am and still find tons of happy people. The drinks were good and the staff was great. Whenever my mother or I needed anything they were there within minutes. OH and ladies if you're planning any sort of "ladies night" out, you need to go see Thunder from down under! ha! Anyway I loved it and I have a large group of friends that are all planning to go down for a week in June! Stay here if you want to party the night away :)

  Security
I entered the elevator area and got on at least 4 times during my stay and the SECURITY OFFICER WAS NOT THERE - this makes me nervous because guests will bring their friends up to the rooms without Security knowing. As someone who loves your Hotel and Casino, that bothers me. My daughter is not always with us even though she is over 21, I don't want her safety comprised because SECRITY WAS AWAY FROM THEIR POST.

  Seen better days
This place is just, plain tired. Stayed here one night at the end of my honeymoon after 5 nights at MGM. The room (a jacuzzi room) was just tired looking, with a large stain on the carpet and a bed that had seen much better days. The jacuzzi was nice, overlooking the strip, but the damn window was so tiny, you had to stretch your head to see anything. Overall, this place is in dire need of a facelift. Sorry, but it's true. The staff was accommodating and friendly and I had no issues with them, but this place is exhausted... the hallways are dark, the rooms are dreary and the elevators were dirty. Frankly, I expect better and it's difficult to believe that this is owned by the same company that owns Mandalay Bay and Luxor. Time to move a little money north on the strip and fix this sleeping giant.

  Very happy at the Excalibur
Having dealt with Moira Funk in the past, there is no hotel, eating establishment, gas station, or any public venue that will make her happy. After spending a week in Vegas at the Excalibur, I rate the hotel and service a 9 out of 10. The Bridge Room at Atlantis might be better...

There were 9 of us that went to Vegas for a wedding and stayed at Excalibur for 5 days. We LOVED it. The rooms were neat and big enough for 4 adults, with too much luggage!! The Round Table buffet was EXCELLENT..and affordable for what you get. We ate there at least once a day. The drink service could have been quicker, but when you are waiting for liquor, isn't that always the case!! The slots were pretty good. The shows were good..the dinner show is a must see. CHeck out the FANTASY FAIRE downstairs..we did not know it was there until the last day..and we had the most fun there...it was like being at a fair as a kid...but more grown up!! We had good and bad times on the floor, but 3 or 4 of us out of 9 came out ahead. I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants a nice place at a great deal. Location was great as you don't have to decide which direction to go, you leave the hotel and walk down the strip...no regrets on going the wrong way!!! (Ladies check out the $10 store, nice necklace and earring sets..everything in there is 10 bucks.)
