I was raped by a ghost in this hotel
on my first night at the golden gate i heard all kinds of racket and strange noises when I went to bed. Then I saw it a male ghost. Looked like John Holmes. I turned on the lights the sounds persisted but I couldnt see mr holmes anymore. I Slept with the lights on. Next day I figured I was dreaming or just plain drunk from all of the Russin Zombies I had been drinking. I dedcided to not drink on day two and have never used dope. That night I went to bed the same thing happened. This time before I could get the light on to make the ghosts disapear Two huge black ghosts grabbed my arms and rolled my to my stomach. For the next 6 hours the ghost of john holmes raped me analy (I am a male)After it was over I called las vegas finest to report it. They took my report and said this happens all the time that the room I was staying in was one of mr holmes favorites. They told me it was no use filling out a police report because they couldnt prosecute a dead person for rape. They then had the casino give me coupons for two free drinks. lets look at this. Raped analy for 6 hrs and incontinet (largest ghost pecker I have ever seen) for life and they give me to free drinks

Although I haven't stayed at this hotel, I have had breakfast in the dining room. I love the ambiance. It seems to be true, old style Vegas. Lots of locals frequent the place. I've stopped in each time I've been to Vegas. The location is great - right on Fremont Street. While you're down there, make sure to visit the Golden Nugget!

This has to be the worst hotel in Las Vegas. The rooms are the smallest rooms I have ever seen. There were cockroaches in my room, they had to switch us to another room. NOt only that...... you can here all the "weridos" from the street, not to mention the constant sounds of police sirens. I felt like I was on a bad episode of cops. The worse part of all was the smell. Up and down the hallways smelt like expired food. Nasty! I will never stay here again! This place is for old people.

Keep in mind I don't have kids and would not bring them downtown if I did. The G. G., despite the room being somewhat dingy, I found to be a very cozy place with a friendly warm casino, alot of old school charm and a fantastic location for an all around true Las Vegas experience! I've stayed there twice and would go back if they could just offer the prices of some of the other small hotel/casino's on fremont

Had no choice and stayed here one night during Comdex. They are the original rooms to the very old hotel. Quite dingy and run down but clean and comfortable. Kind of scary to walk down the corridors by yourself. The casino is a lot of fun though and the Bay City Diner has great food!

I will return to play but not to stay.
