2stars  Rude rude rude!
Room was ok and I got a decent deal on it but wow the staff is rude! My god they think they are the sh@t and you are there to bother them. The eye rolls and snippy attitudes when I asked for simple things was unbelievable. Ate at Pink Taco, luckys and got coffee. Just because you have spikey hair doesnt mean you can treat me like a jacka$$. Wow has this place gone down hill. Back in the day is used to be cool and jamming now it's more modern now but the people act like you killed their damn dog or something. I prefer South Point for gambling now.

3stars  Hard Rock is officially thugged out completely!
This used to be the most hip spot in Las Vegas for the 30 something crowd! Man how things change. The center bar was all you needed to have a bangin spot for an awesome weekend!! But now it is like a freaking rap convention there. Last time I checked....everything in the place revolved around rock and roll music not rap or hip hop....oh well.

1star
When I was there for a concert I slipped on ice and tore ligaments in my foot. There was security standing right next to the ice and didn't warn me. After I fell they didn't even bother helping me up. I wrote a report about it at the security office and they took full responsibility then. The next day they didn't want anything to do with my case and told me no you are on your own pretty much. I hired a lawyer and they were making lies and saying I did it on purpose and what not. I lost my job because of this. They will not take responsibility for anything they do in there. I don't think this is a good place to visit at all. Plus the music is to loud and sucks, the food sucks and is WAY overpriced. There are way cheaper and better casinos and hotels on the strip.

1star  HARD ROCK HOTEL SUCKS
Seriosuly the worst front desk of all time. Got the reservation wrong. Put me on a floor I didn't request. Charged me an extra nights stay. Called to confront and request money back from them. They didn't care so I had to go through my credit card company. Honestly the worst hotel experience ever!!! Thanks to their employees Manuel AKA Manny who were zero help in handling these issues.

  Ok Stay
We have come to Las Vegas for the last four years and the Hard Rock is not the worst we stayed in. We came in December so there was not much action going on outside. The Room was Great, Room Service was Great. My only two complaints would be that its to far off the main strip and the Pink Taco sucked.

Rock On.

ps: need more food choices.

  Good times
Actually went in August on a midweek $139 special and traveled solo. My room overlooked the pool and was clean and comfortable.

I really enjoyed the poolside scene, lots of interesting LA types. Great music to tan by.

The service all around was not so great . Poolside wait staff had better things to do than help us. Restaurant selection was poor. Nobu and the breakfast place were good though. I ate mostly at the johnnie rockets across the street. The casino staff seemed more interested in watching the baseball games on some nearby TVs. My blackjack dealer lept making mistake after mistake. The pit boss wasn't interested.

I will most likely try a different hotel next time I am in town.

If you want to subject your children to drug overdoses & a casino with the intent to bury you. Then this is the place. Because the owners and managers deal drugs

I jsut came back from an "offer" by the casino...the "well suited weekend" was its name. In return for my usual play, they were to have a tailor on site to custom make a suit for me, and other gambling guests. Pretty cool, huh?...Well...long story short, I booked far in advance and everything was set. I arrived after the 5 hour drive from LA, only to be informed that I was "bumped" from the event! Of course they apologized, and told me my room was of course still available...I was furious! Free rooms for gamblers are everywhere...I put the time aside for this RSVP'd event, and to make matters worse, my "host" informed of all this in front of a group of other gamblers in the VIP check in of the hotel. Needless to say, I left humiliated, (although with my gambling stake intact), and immediately checked out for another casino who would never reneg on one of its loyal gamers.

Enjoyed our stay there despite some of the other comments posted here. If I went back, I'd stay at a different hotel just to see a different hotel. But the Hard Rock was okay. I'd recommend it. The price was good too.

so much silicone and tan in a can I couldnt believe it. I may not be a "hardbody" but if this is wha the youth of america look like today, I dont think there will be toomany more babies born. and the piercings! But the decor is nice, and I didnt think the music was that loud. Only reason I wouldnt stay there again is location, besides that its ok. I suggest making the Hard Rock a side trip, to look at the people there. Freakshow!

Our belongings got STOLEN while sleeping. It seemed like there was an accomplice too but we are not sure. Anyhow, we quickly told the hotel security but all they asked us to do was fill out a statement and disappeared. Naturally, we did not feel safe at all and were very upset! But they did not do anything!!! Only after when we insited that we wanted a room change they said they would "try their best" to find another room. Well, they couldn't make the change for millions of reasons.

The security staff interrogated us!! And tried to put the blame on us. However, we hoped for the best and had confidence that they would help us catch this bastard... if not at least help us through the hard time.

On the contrary, the hotel management seemed to be avoiding us. They were cold, indifferent, insesitive, and unsympathetic. The more we talked to them the more we were frustrated. The manager even implied that we could be making up the story!!! He said, "people come to Las Vegas and make many accusations."

After we left Las Vegas we expected them to follow up with us. But we were the ones making long distance calls after calls. Four days later, they told us that they were not responsible... and that was it! They told us that we have to take their word for it that the investigation was conducted and in a trueful manner. During the conversation they questioned, "how could us believe that you are not making up the story?"

I broke into tears because I was so upset to be treated in that way. Please, think twice before staying at Hard Rock...

I stayed at the Hard Rock for my first time from Aug.5 to Aug.9. 2001. Had a great time. The room was very nice and pretty much sound proof...unlike many other hotels where you can hear noises from the neighboring room.

I enjoyed the food at the 24 hour coffee shop, but have to agree with the less than stellar reports for the Pink Taco. They claim to have authentic Mexican food, but coming from a Mexican family, I can tell you it is very Americanized Mexican food.

The casino was very lively...a bit too loud at times, but I generally had fun. Most of the dealers I played with were friendly.

My only complaint...twice about 5:30 a.m, the fire alarm went off. Since I had just dozed off to sleep after a long night at the tables, I was not too happy. I have been to Las Vegas about 40 times over the last 15 years, and this was my first experience with fire alarms jarring me out of my sleep.

Stay away from their restaurant, "Pink Taco"...catchy name, but the food is possibly the worst I've ever had in my life. I sent back my meal.

Do some research. I heard a lot of first timers complaining about the hotel not be located on The Strip. Well, da! If you had any sense you would have looked up the hotel location before booking it. I like it because it is off the Strip. Someone wrote that it's touristy on this review page. Well DA again! It's Las Vegas, what do you expect? People amaze me, they really do!

The hard rock is a bit touristy. But I stayed there with some friends on a recent trip. We were very pleased with the service. The rooms were nice, as was the price and location.

I actually like eating at the hard rock cafe, but I'm a big music fan. I actually look at all the stuff they have there. The Las Vegas Hard Rock Cafe isn't as nice as the San Francisco one, but its still fun to see. A little noisy though.

Younger Crowd, Good VP Refreshing break from 50-something-dominated Strip casinos. Young, beautiful people, rock memorabilia, and lots of full pay video poker.

I love visitng the Hard Rock! The casino is fun, exciting, and appeals to a younger crowd. The pool is one of the best in Vegas. It has a sand beach, rental cabanas, and even has underwater speakers so you can hear the music when you swim!

If you are simply looking for a party and don't care much about receiving great service, go to the Hard Rock. We just returned from the Hard Rock yesterday and had a very bad experience. I'd say it's a great place for young people with low expectations. We're young and we enjoy the atmosphere, but the hotel staff provided zippo in the way of quality service

When I stayed at the Hard Rock hotel- it was a lot of fun for

the family. The kids had plenty to do during the day, and

I won big!
