5stars  Best location
The Harrah's Casino and hotel is the best location if you want to stay on the LV Strip.
I also to stay there because I know the layout of the casino and other casinos near the Harrah's Casino.
I always check with Harrah's first when I am going to Las Vegas.

When I travel to Las Vegas we like to stay at Harrah's for many reasons.
The location can't be beat and Harrah's has services and Casino fun as good as any other on the strip.
We never miss the big Elvis show and all the strip fun is within easy walking distance.
I like the way there is always someone asking if they can help you.
Harrah's is always a great location when I travel even if it is Las Vegas, California or Reno.

4stars  One of the best times I've had in a while
I did not have the pleasure of staying at this particular hotel. However, the gambling at this place was great! It had $10 tables and the dealers that I had were absolutely hilarious! I watched the football game at the sports bar and I never missed the action of watching the Cowboys play while gambling on my favorite game of blackjack. It's the first casino I plan to go to when I return again in the summer.

My wife and I again tryed to get a stay at a Harrahs property after a self imposed hiatis due to disenchantment of services. My reservation at Rio was somehow converted to Harrahs and naturally we did not get our free night as posted on our comp emails. Check in seemed like an eternity at both hotels and everything from that point on was a hassle. Room was Ok but very small. Crap dealers were rude and disinterested and comps are tight. Harrahs does not put much weight on crap players. They seem to favor slot players. Crap players would do better at almost anywhere else in Vegas. I think they are getting to big and do not care about their customers. We are monthly visitors to Las Vegas but we wont be staying at Harrahs properties anymore. Bad experience.

Stayed at Harrah's last week for six days and had a great time. Hotel room was clean and roomy, but could have used a coffee maker. Not great view because smoking room. My sister was provided room complimentary for our entire stay -- not bad...plus we also received some free meals. Casino is roomy, but slots were not paying out. Had better luck next door at Imperial Palace. Pool area was not as large as expected, but found an upper area to sunbathe that had misters and a fountain to cool off in. Next time plan to stay in non-smoking room with view of pool (plus balcony). Check-in was great -- no wait at all. Check-out done over t.v., which saved time. Plan to stay again there soon. Check out Carnival Court - outdoor bar - free shots and great music.

THIS IS THE 3rd YEAR MY 2 SISTERS & I HAVE GONE TO VEGAS. WE HAVE STAYED AT HARRAH'S ALL 3 TIMES. WE LOVE IT THERE. IT'S CENTRALLY LOCATED & EVERYONE THAT WE TALKED TO THAT WORKS THERE IS VERY NICE. THIS YEAR WE HAVE 4 FREE COMP NIGHTS WHICH GIVES US MORE MONEY FOR GAMBLING & EATING. WE REALLY LIKED THE GARDEN CAFE & THE BUFFET. WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY AT HARRAH'S EVERY TIME WE GO TO VEGAS WHICH WE HOPE WILL BE A YEARLY TRIP FOR US.

The rooms were clean and well kept. I was comped the rooms, as their player's card is generous and always sending coupons to visit...

the only complaint i have is in the casino. The ceiling are too low and if you are not a smoker, u will suffer when u play....It often felt stuffy and smoky....

Stayed at Harrah's because of the comp'd rooms, but even at the regular rate it'd be worth the money. One thing I notice, in Reno where I'm from, the service is #1, absolutley can't be beat, but when I go to Harrahs Tahoe, or Harrahs Vegas, the dealers are real bad, meaning grouchy and rude. I don't care if they don't smile or chat, but don't make snide remarks and wince when someone wins. If you stay at Harrahs Vegas, avoid the table games.

Buffet was superb. Good selection, and service (lunch time and it was slow business). Food tastes great.

Location can't be beat, right in middle of strip. That and the price make this place best place to stay, plus the place is somewhat exciting and not drab like a few others.

Also, as a person who travels by car to Vegas, the parking at Harrahs is best place on strip, something to consider if you're driving there. It's close, small, and easy in and out. I've parked at a few other places and you have to get on your hiking shoes.

visited 07/08/02 - 07/12/02 HARRAH`S IS GENIUNELY A 4 STAR HOTEL. THE LOCATION IS CENTER STRIP. IF YOU STAY AT HARRAH`S THERE IS NO NEED FOR A RENTAL CAR. HARRAH`S HAS A SHUTTLE FOR EVERYTHING YOU COULD THINK OF. THE FOOD IS REASONABLE, AND THE HOTEL IS RAN AT A FIRST CLASS RATE. THE ROOM SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL, THE ENTIRE HOTEL IS SUPER CLEAN. THE BAD POINT IS THERE IS NO P[LACE IN VEGAS THAT OFFERS A FREEM GYM, AND THE GYM FEES ARE 15.00 BUCKS A DAY. HOWEVER, HARRAH`S STILL WAS THE CHEAPEST. I WAS SKEPTICAL AT FIRST , BUT HANDS DOWN WE WILL RETURN TO THE SAME LOCATION. KEY POINTS MADE: THEY HAVE FREE SHOWS , COMEDY CLUBS AND ASK FOR THE CARNIVAL TOWER IT IS NEWLY REMODELED. WE ARE A CONSERVATIVE FAMILY, AND HARRAH`S A CLASS ACT THAT IS USER FRIENDLY. VEGAS OS NO PLACE FOR KIDS OUR ONLY MISTAKE, THERE IS A LOT OF WALKING INCLUDED, BECAUSE TRAFFIC IS RIDICULOS!!!!! SURE OVERALL.

i saw irregular play at a casino war table game. there were two people playing, and both had a "war" the guy on the left was friendly w/the dealer and the lady was just a regular player. Well when they gota "war. the dealer burned three cards (like you are supposed to) for the guy, but then just flipped the next card for the woman. then the dealer burned three for his war. Huh??? surprise: the guy won, and the girl lost. then a few hands later, another war. this time the dealer did not burn any cards before flipping the guys or his. the guy won again. I did not know what the heck was going on but if the "eye in the sky" doesn't notice this or care, no way am I going to take out a marker there. No way.

Conclusion: i never stayed ther and have no opinion but don/'t trust the table games.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat! We arrived at midnight only to find

out that they had given our no-smoking room away! Not a problem, they put us

in the presidential suite for the night and gave us a $50 food voucher for the

hassle of moving the next day. It was a bummer going from the strip view 35th

floor to the mountain view 17th, but for $39/night who could complain. The room

was very clean and comfy. Nice size bathrooms. Staff is very friendly and down

to earth.

Stayed here for 2 nights. I thought the lobby was great, not a long line to check in. For someone who doesn't get out much for traveling, I thought the rooms were beautiful. My boyfriend & I walked to the other hotel casinos, and out of all of them, Harrah's had a lot more people by far. Be careful in the rooms though...they have snacks, drinks, alcohol, etc. inside a little refrigerator. I guess in very small print on a paper inside of there it says not to remove anything from it...or even move them around. My boyfriend didn't read it, bought some beer, and moved 6 sodas to put his beers in to get them cold. My boyfriend later ended up reading the sign so he told me to call down to the front desk & ask how it worked. They charged us for 6 of the sodas, plus about 2 other mini alcoholic drinks, where we only took them out of their slot to read the labels on them. Although they ended up taking that charge off, I thought that was a pretty stupid rul. And the prices on these drinks were NOT your ordinary price for a soda....so just watch out for that! Overall though, I was satisfied with my stay at Harrahs!

Stayed here 1/13-1/15 2002. Got a great rate of $35 per night. Stayed in the Carnaval Tower and was very impressed with the rooms. Clean and comfortable.

Food was good, not great, in the Garden Cafe. Our waiter the second time was new, I think, so service was a little slow. Harrah's is a great location, and I would definately stay there again!

I have been visiting Las Vegas since 1971 and have stayed at many hotels, Harrahs to me has the freindliest workers on the strip. From the hotel staff to the dealers. It is a pleasure playing a table game and having dealers who are not robots and can carry on a conversation without yelling at you.

Keep it up

Harrah's was recommended to me by a friend who travels to Las Vegas several

times a year. She recommended that I sign up for a total rewards card.

This was a great idea. It did not take very long to work up to a "platinum card" which

earned me a free dinner one night and also got me to the head of the buffet line

or the line at the Garden Cafe (which by the way, had long lines every night.) The Garden Cafe food was quite good, although

the help was slow. The Fresh Market Buffet was also quite good. Lots of choices

and very reasonable prices at both places. Location is great, right on the strip, close

to everything. The hotel and casino employees are extremely friendly and helpful. They

introduce themselves by their first name and tell you to let them know if you

need anything. Room rates are great and the room was quite nice with a great view. I was

not in my room very much, but appreciated the comfortable bed. Express check out

was nice and neat. I will definitely go back, probably later this year.
