My mom and I visit Vegas at least 2-3 times a year and have stayed everywhere from the Bellagio to the Tropicana. This time around we decided to try something a bit different and stay in "old Vegas" at Lady Luck. It was the BEST thing we ever did!!!!!! The service was more than outstanding!!! We were treated like high rollers and didn't have to spend the money that high rollers spend. The rooms were clean and reasonable for the amount of time we spend in them. The dealers were very patient and entertaining. The Players Card had the best returns we have ever experienced at any casino. The restaurants were suitable and food was good. Typically, each time we go to Vegas, we have tried to stay at different hotels to keep things interesting until now...we will return to Lady Luck as long as the VIP treatment continues. Thank you Lady Luck!!!!!!!

I went to Las Vegas with my fiance' and her mother. We had the idea that we would be staying with some of her friends in near by Henderson for a couple of days so that she could find a house to buy. Well the plans didn't go according to the script. 1st her friends were not available. 2nd we had no room reservations. 3rd it was hotter than HELL! So we desided to take a trip to downtown. We walked around the center for a while and decided to take a trip inside the Lady Luck Casino. I thought that The Casino was alright until I went to the reservations department for room pricing. When she quoted the prices the casino went from alright to GREAT! But you have to be real. It's not the strip, but it's down the street from the strip. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool was crisp and pleasant and I even took some time out to play some tennis in the desert. Bottom line the visit was GREAT! Espeacially under the cercumstances, oh yaeh the room was a tower room.

OK...third review. Went to Las Vegas 7/21/03 for 5 days. Didn't stay at LL but friends did. We paid them a couple of visits and were happy to see the LL bouncing upwards! The casino looks great and the staff was VERY VERY nice and helpful. Never saw the rooms on this trip but my friends said that it was nice and clean. The LL is on the way back, it seems. They were a little short-staffed in the valet and dealer department. Baby steps, I guess. Keep going Lady Luck and we may be back.

  Last Visit - November 2003

This is an updated review. About 3 years ago, I loved the L.L. Then it started to go down hill - FAST! We don't feel safe there anymore and the dealers are unfriendly. Morale is very low at the LL too. It's sad because my whole family really loved this place but now we all kind of think that it blows. We still love downtown though! Hopefully, the L.L. will rise again. We'll see...

Very nice place to stay. We stayed in January and couldn't have been happier. Sure, there are nicer places in vegas, but this was a great mix of value and pleasantness. I would stay again. If you go to vegas a lot, this is a good place.

me my family and friends visit las vegas 5-6 times each year and the lady luck has taken extreamly good care and of me and the people i happen to be with. rooms are spacious and clean and they give you anything you ask for within reason. if you are a true and deciated gambler, downtown lasvegas is the place to be.yea the strip is glitzy and nice and most of the action is there but there is nothing like playing craps downtown at 300am.and if you play where you stay the rewards are endless$$$

We go to Vegas at least 3 times a year. We always stay at a hotel on the strip. Two months ago we had booked a room for three nights on the strip and found ourselves going a day earlier because of plane schedules. I booked one night the last minute at the Lady Luck. We loved it!! We usually go to Fremont at least one night when in Las Vegas, but have never stayed there. We are going back to the Lady Luck next weekend because we liked the friendly staff, the great location and the comfort. We rent a car so we can go on the strip when we want.

Not a bad place for downtown, but downtown is nothing compared to the strip. If you are an old farmer or some blue collar dirtbag, then downtown will be right up your alley. If you still have all your teeth and most of your pride, then you will stay on the strip.

What a bargain! The rooms were big and clean, came with regfrigerator and had a great view. We won enough money on our first day to pay for the entire trip and then some. It was our first trip to Vegas as adults and this hotel is right off the old strip (freemont experience) we remembered as children. The service is great, the people are friendly and the slots PAY!!! The buffet was decent, lots of food. Anythig you want to drink, they will serve you if your playing. I had my fair share of Heinekens! We will definately come back and stay at this hotel again. Our friends who stayed on the strip did not win nearly as much money as we did and they ended up spending a lot more. If you want to come to Vegas to party and gamble on a reasonable budget, Lady Luck is the place!

We hae been to Las Vegas five times in the last year and a half mostly because of the great comps given by the Lady Luck. We are not hard core gamblers and don't visit casinos other than in LV. We have stayed at five different hotels and by far the Lady Luck has been the best. The staff is the friendliest, the buffet quite reasonable and tasty, and you don't have to walk a hundred miles to get to your room. We will make the Lady Luck a part of our trip each time we go.

The staff was great, never rude or 'too busy' to help you out.

The buffet was adequate. The slots paid off and you could have a good time w/o going broke. We like the slower pace of the location compared to the strip. We would go back there again and again. It was nice to be able to walk around the area feeling safe and leisurely. Before we left RI we had no idea what it was going to be like. I would give it a lot off stars for overall satisifaction.

The hotel was pretty average. It was a little smokey. I guess I didn't do enough research before I went to Vegas. I didn't realize that this hotel was 'downtown' instead of on the Strip. I really wanted to be on the strip- its much more alive there. Its not hard to get to the Strip from downtown, but it would have been nice to stay there just the same.

The hotel staff was not very fast. We ordered an Iron to be sent to our room and they never sent it until we called again. They generally didn't seem to be interested in going out of their way to help.

The Lady Luck is THE BEST place to stay in Las Vegas. Great room rates, friendly staff, convenient to everything, etc. We've been there 5 times and never had any complaints except losing some money, but hey, it's Las Vegas.
