Wynn Las Vegas
Wynn Las Vegas is the latest project by Steve Wynn, the developer of the Mirage, Treasure Island, the Bellagio and many other casinos. Ground was broken in October of 2002 and is expected to be completed sometime in 2005. Originally, the name of this hotel was to be Le Reve, but that has now changed to Wynn Las Vegas. Plans include a 2,700 room hotel, an art gallery displaying some of the works of Picasso and Van Gogh, the only 18-hole golf course on The Strip, and the only Ferrari and Maserati dealership on The Strip. They are also producing a new show designed by Franco Dragone. The budget for Wynn Las Vegas has now been increased up to about $2.6 billion.

Wynn Las Vegas will be located on the site once occupied by the Desert Inn.

More information will be added as it becomes available.

Will open on April 28, 2005.

The Wynn Collection is open for exhibit and is most definitely one of the finest permanent collections of Fine Art on the West Coast. The personal stories told by Steve Wynn himself on the significance of each piece and how it was obtained is truly amazing.

A trip to Las Vegas just to see the Fine Art at Le Reve, Venetion, Picasso's (a Restaraunt at the Bellagio) and Renoir's (a restaurant at the Mirage) are definetely a great way to tide an art lover over between trips to Europe and Asia.
