3stars  My experience in the Main Street Station buffet
Hey, the guy who rated Main Street Station buffet equal to Ryan's Steakhouse, I'm sorry, but you're nuts. Main Street Station buffet is one of the best, if not the best buffet in Las Vegas.

Main Street Station is the best buffet in Las Vegas. The seafood buffet is excellent. Your weekend brunch is quite good. I could use a couple of discount coupons if at all possible. Please send them to Michael Ray Thompson, 525 E. Bonanza Road #110, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101? Thank you and keep up the good work.

Sincerly yours,

3stars  My Friday night experience at your seafood buffet
I've been in Las Vegas for about three years. Main Street Station was my first experience for casino buffets. I've managed to experience a few more buffets since I got here. Main Street Station is the best buffet in Las Vegas. I especially like your Friday night seafood buffet. I could however use a couple of discount coupons. Please mail them to: Michael Thompson, 525 E. Bonanza Road #110, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101? Thank you and keep up the good work.

Sincerly yours,
Michael R. Thompson

3stars  My dining experience at Main Street Station
Main Street Station is one of the best, if not the best buffet in Las Vegas. Furthermore, the employees, everyone from the stewards to the managers, are the friendliest, most helpful restaurant employees of any restaurant in town. I like everything about your buffet, everything from the breakfast buffet to the Friday night seafood buffet. I could use some discount coupons, however. Please mail them to 525 E. Bonanza Road #110, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101? My phone number is 366-0456. Thanks! See you next time.

Sincerly yours,
Michael R. Thompson

  Will come back again
Where to start.Have stayed there twice.Check in was quick both times.Rooms were OK,nothing fancy.Buffet is the best downtown, good value for the $$$ you pay.Brew pub has nice selection of appetizers and burgers.Good home brews also for you who drink.Video poker as good as any downtown.Score with 4 nice bonus although I never got more than $2.Cocktail service can be a little slow sometimes during the wee hours of the morning, maybe thats good.Have to go across the inside walkway to the "Cal" for the sportsbook.Nice place with good gambling, will go back for more.

The Hotel and Casino were ok for the Money. The buffet (including the Friday night seafood) was just average, not even close to what I expected from reading reviews. I would compare it to a Ryan's Steakhouse. Not sure if it was the food or not but I spent 24 hours in bed sick with nausea and the chills. The Hotel website says that they have a complimentary shuttle to the strip (sure they did). We had to walk two blocks to the city bus terminal to get to the strip (take a can of mace with you). For the grand finale of our trip, we had over $500 worth of personal items stole from our room. The Hotel flyer recomended using the safe for valuables. Would of used it if there was one. A definite thumbs down for the Main Street.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days and let me tell you it was the best time of my life. The buffet's were wonderful and the hotel itself was so beautiful. The best part of all was of course the great prices. If you are plaining on going to Vegas then I suggest you stay at this hotel.

My girlfriend and I have stayed here several times and it is by far the best place to stay downtown. The casino is great. they have the best selection of video poker of any casino in Vegas! The brewery makes the best beer I have ever tasted. The rooms are a little small but they are always clean and they have a great view. Service is always very good. The restaurants are excellent. I would recommend staying here. Also the California Hotel-Casino is connected to it so it is like staying at 2 different hotels at once. This hotel-casino-brewery rates a 10 in my book!

Main Street is a really nice place to stay while your in vegas. The people there are real nice. Before we stayed here for the first time we always stayed at another hotel, but we won't again. Me and my wife come to vegas two or three times a year, we love it out here. And we are coming again in June, and were staying at Main Street again. Also I think they have the best buffet in vegas, The food is great. So see you in June Main Street Station.

I would have to say that this hotel is friendly. The maids do a good job keeeping the rooms clean. I knew a person who left $800 under his pillow and forgot about it when he went out. When the maid cleaned the room she called security and had them hold the money until he returned. I was very surprised by their honesty. I would stay here again, but the only draw back is that it's located about 1.5 blocks from the Freemont Experience.

we've travelled to vegas three times now, this year will be the fourth. we always stay at the main street. the best buffet around! the rooms aren't grand but there jsut for sleeping anyways. Very clean. The lobby, casino and bufet areas are great. A real museum that's always fun looking for the stuff we missed the last time. The casino isn't so big you get lost in it, just the right size for winning (and losing). The Triple 7 is great food and we're looking forward to the Pulman's Grill this year. So much to do, so little time. We recommend that main Street Station. Especially to all those travelling from Hawaii. The food is always ONO! They have real sticky rice! Plus, while it is downtown, Fremont St. is always fun. Great bargains on everything. We always stay atleast a week so we always have a car. It's only a few minutes to the strip at half the cost or more. Want to know more, jsut ask...
